Change Gallery Author

    If I login as “john” for example and I create a gallery, “john” is the author. In the roles and capabilities I have it set to where I do NOT want other users editing other galleries. So this is working fine. What if I want to change the author of a gallery? What if for gallery “homepage slideshow”, I want to change the author from “john” to “maria”? I don’t see how to do that. In the old version of the NexGen plugin there was a dropdown that let you do that.

    Hi @hlumley,

    Unfortunately, the current version of NextGen doesn’t allow for this sort of manipulations like changing the gallery’s author. More than this, I don’t believe that it actually allows restricting the gallery edit an/or insert capability to the gallery author only and it will actually allow editing/inserting any available gallery if having the gallery editing capability.
