Change from usd $ to gbp £

I am running with suffusion theme and jigoshop. Integrated fine but when I tried to change from usd to gbp via wp config.php define(‘WPLANG’, ‘en_GB’); That worked on the backend ok but did not change currency to £ what have I missed ??? Otherwise looks like a good plugin,
