change from code to plain text and missing tool bar

  • I just upgraded from old version of word press to 3.0.5 and all my posts has the code wrapped around each of my posts, how do I remove the code so I just see the text? also, the tool bar is missing so don’t have option to include links etc…not sure how to get the tool bar back either? thank you

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

haven’t tried any of those, will try. thank you
