Change font color in comment box

  • RobertaRyan

    @robertaryan

    when a visitor types into the comment box it is very light grey and almost not seen. Any ideas on how to darken the type. BTW…I am a non-techie who is new at this.

    Thanks

    Unless there is a theme option for changing that color, it would be set in the CSS code in style.css file. But generally, you don’t want to edit that file directly (or your changes will be lost when the theme is updated) — so best to use a Child Theme or a custom CSS option or plug-in.

    If you post a link to your site, someone can likely help you with the specifics.

    Thank you.

    How would I know if my theme has the option to change font color? http://www.robertaryan.com

    I read the link you posted and the process is beyond my ability. It looks like I will need to check in with my designer or someone who knows WP better than I do.

    When you login into the admin panel > Appearance > Template > “actual template” and then search for the link where are Relaxa template options

    or someting related with options for your template, otherwise you’ll get to change your CSS file

    I following the directions and learned that my template does not give my the option to change this font color through the options. I will check in with my designer about Child Themes and/or CSS file change.

    Thank you
