Does anyone know if there are any risks for wordpress? The plugin is working correctly.
But once installed and configured, it creates folders with permissions different from those ideal for wordpress (default 755/644)

It creates some folders in 775 and files in 664, would there be any risk of malware injection?

    Affected folders:

    /wp-content/webp-express/config
    /wp-content/webp-express/webp-images-bigger….

    Affected files:

    /wp-content/webp-express/config/.htaccess
    /wp-content/webp-express/webp-images-bigger…./ .htaccess

I manually changed the permissions and everything works correctly whether on the nginx or apache server.

When installing and changing the settings and saving for the first time it creates these folders, mine were also like this with the permissions, I made the change and everything worked, great plugin
