• Hi everyone,

Iam using WP 2.0 and unlike the previous version i can’t change the filesize limit in options > misc.

The max filesize now is set to 2MB i want to change that into something larger. I know FTP is the best way to transfer files, but i want to upload using the panel as well.

Now iam getting this error: The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini

Does anyone knows where to change this setting? Also i want to approve more files such as *.ai, *.psd and so on.

  • php.ini is set by your webhost, it’s they you need to ask for this one..

Thank you! I’ll contact the serveradmin to see what he can do about it.

Do you perhaps know where i can change the filetypes that are allowed. I’d like to be able to upload *.ai *.psd etc files every now and then when FTP is not available.

You should be able to upload any file type, I’m uploading word documents and the like.
