Change email for default admin profile

    *Please read the full post. I am NOT trying to change my account email. I searched the forums but did not see this same issue.*

    I’m trying to change my default email address for the admin profile for my WordPress site. When I try, it says that there is a pending change and that I need to check my email to confirm the change. I check the email that I’m changing from and the email that I’m changing to, but there is no confirmation.

    I’ve looked in my spam folders, and there’s nothing. I’ve also sent a test email to both accounts, and both accounts receive the test email without issue.

    Why isn’t WordPress sending out the confirmation email when I’m trying to make a change to my admin profile?

    Hi,

    Did you get this sorted?

    If not, are you able to receive other emails (such as password resets for forgotten emails) sent from your website?
