I am trying to change the DNS servers on a wordpress account (my client) to the servers on my server and I can’t find where to do it. I already looked here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/

The screenshot that is provided on the link does not help. I am guessing that with a free account you are not allowed to change the DNS servers? I don’t understand why because my client has a free account, but they also have their own domain: three60fitness.ca and it renews every year.

    Pleas help me with this,
    Evan

Hi Evan, I think you’re in the wrong forums. Did you mean to post here: http://en.forums.wordpress.com ?

No but I can do that if I have to.

    wordpress.com is a separate organisation to wordpress.org.

Reading the change_name_servers page indicates that wordpress.com seem happy for their customers to point their domain to anywhere they want, in fact they seem to encourage moving the registar if the site is no longer hosted on wordpress.com.

However, in this case wordpress.com seems to be the domain name registrar, and if their instructions are inaccurate or hard to follow then you must contact wordpress.com for assistance.
