Change default views when entering movies?

    Thanks for this great plug-in, Charlie! It’s impressively slick.

    1. When I’m entering a bunch of movies manually, I’d like to have the MetaData tab appear by default so I don’t have to click on it each time.

    2. In addition, it would be great to have the option to go directly to the Add New Movie screen after publishing a movie.

    3. It’d be very helpful to be able to supply my own image for a missing poster.

    Are these things possible?

    Hi azw,

    1. Added to the next update! You can download the current development version from GitHub and add this code to your theme’s functions.php file, the metadata panel will be select by default.

    2. You mean, be redirected to an empty editor page right after publishing any movie? That’s not technically impossible, but not very recommended and probably not reliable enough to be brought to the plugin as an option.

    3. Not possible right now, but it’s a long planned feature that will be present in version 3.0 which is in development 🙂

    Oh, nice! You’re tops, Charlie! Thanks for your reply.
    #1 and #3 are definitely the biggies. I can see how #2 could be useful in case there was an error of some sort.

    I’m doing psychotherapy with kids and adults, and one of the kinds of therapy I’m learning to do is neurofeedback (biofeedback using EEG signals from the brain). I was going to use a paper list to give clients an option of which movies they can watch during neurofeedback sessions. When I found your plug-in, I was really pleased by the quality of the thought that you put into its design.

    The worse part of this project will be pre-screening each DVD for appropriateness! At first I thought that’d be a fun thing, and it is, but not with 200-300 DVDs!
