# Change default URL

 * I have the latest WP installed. I have old domain and new domain pointing to 
   the same directory on my server so in effect, both domains are working. Can I
   not just change the domain name in Settings > WordPress address (URL) and > Blog
   address (URL)?
 * If not how do I do this without corrupting everything? I have backed up the database
   using WordPress Database Backup 2.2.2 by Austin Matzko.
 * I found a how-to on here but it was so complex I was hoping it was old and that
   the new WP would have sorted this out.
