    Hi,

I have the grid-view on desktop and on mobile the mobile view.

I want to change the day headline (date format).

    I have added format=”D, d. F Y”

    I get: “Freitag 1”

    I want: “Fr, 01. November 2019”

How can change the date format on mobile view?

This was an oversight on my part; the mobile layout on this view does not actually use the format parameter; it’s just hardcoded to, in effect, be l n.

I can fix this in an update I will make available later today.

This is now resolved in version 4.4.1.

    Looks good:-)

But there is a small mistake.

    Now I get: ” Fr, 01. November 2019 1

The last 1 is too much.

An other question: If I use the month view, I get an other (better) list on mobile view as if I use the list view. There I can choose the month from the pulldown menu. Is it possible to use this better version also in list view?

Hmm… it’s not doing that on my test site. This may be a CSS issue. Is it possible for you to share the link to the page your calendar is on so I can check it out? Thanks.

To provide a bit more specifics:

This is using CSS3 media queries to change what gets displayed between the phone and desktop breakpoints. Both formats are present in the HTML, and CSS is being used to show/hide different formats based on the screen size.

It looks to me like your page is showing both versions, which tells me that the CSS class .no_phone is being ignored. It’s possible you may need to clear your cache. Are you bypassing the plugin’s style.css file? (The .no_phone class is defined there.)

You can see it on my page here: https://mailhunter.eu/

    The brakepoints are correct.

If I use view=”month” I get a pulldown menu with the months. This is what I find good.

If I use view=”list” I get a very long list and I’m not able to choose the month from a pulldown menu. This would be better in my opion.

OK, thanks. The problem is actually in the CSS on my test site. I’ve made a few adjustments to the plugin’s CSS and will be including those in version 4.5.0.1, available shortly.

Regarding your other question, the list view and the mobile version of the month view are two completely different templates intended to serve different purposes.

Is your goal to have the mobile version of the month view appear at all screen sizes? This would essentially be the reverse of the nomobile option (which prevents month view from turning into a list at phone sizes). I’ll look into the feasibility of implementing that.

After the last update, the date format on mobile view works correct, thanks!

Regarding your other question, the list view and the mobile version of the month view are two completely different templates intended to serve different purposes.

Perhabs it is a easier way to generate a new view type, for example “view=month-list”.

This is just a suggestion, thanks for your plugin!
