    is it possible to change the “date format” to german or to other format 
   like dd.mm.yy ?
 * the imported data from an excel file is dd.mm.yy (austrian format)

 * thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
 * No, not automatically, sorry. Your best chance is changing this in e.g. Excel
   and then saving the table to a CSV file in Excel and then import that. CSV files
   work better with such format issues.
