# Change database prefix

 * Hi,
 * How do we change the database prefix when installing the site on another domain?
   I’ve looked everywhere and can’t seem to find the option.

 * Currently, there is no option to change the prefix in the Lite version only the
   Pro version. However, there are some plugins and steps that you can follow that
   will help you to specifically perform this process:

 * If you have Freelancer and above then it will show up on step 1 of the installer
   in the advanced mode > options > general tab > table prefix.
