• Hey Everyone,

I have done a lot of searching around and everything seems to point me at changing my password of my username, not the actual database.

I have had some security issues.

I can change it in wp-config.php but cant seem to find where to change it in phpmyadmin.

    Thank you in advance.

If you have hosting with a control panel such as cPanel or Plesk, you must change passwords of database users from within the control panel. If you installed phpMyAdmin yourself, or if it was provided with a localhost application such as Xampp or Wampserver, you can click the User Accounts tab on the main phpMyAdmin page to manage database user credentials.

You can also change the password if you have command-line access to the mysql application on your server.

    Hello rundall

Do you wish to change the PHPMyAdmin password of your Local Env? If yes can you please suggest what do you use Wamp or Xampp

I will surely guide you on this.

    Thanks.
