# Change Continue Reading Tag

 * Currently, on the read more tag – it reads as Continue Reading “Post Title” >

 * I want to change it to just “Read More”
 * Can anyone help me with this?

 * what theme are you using?
 * have you looked into index.php, loop.php, content.php, archive.php, … (depending
   on your theme)?
 * possibly also search functions.php of your theme.
 * can you post a link to your site?

 * Rather than publishing testuser credentials, why not just unlock the sight and
   let people see the results of a post with `<!-- more -->` applied? That way we
   can see the theme you are using and offer pertinent advice.
 * I only suggest it because I’m averse to logging into other people’s installations,
   test account or not.

 * I have the sight password protected because I want it to be “right” before the
   launch date.
 * You’re probably right – it’s not necessary.
 * You can see the entire site – theme and all even though you have to log in.

 * You’ll see the “Continue” is in the orange button.
 * But the “Reading (Post Title)” is in white font – outside of the orange button.
 * I have changed everything I know in order to get the <!–more–> tag to work properly.
 * It did work properly at one time – but I changed the site url and after that 
   switch is when it started acting weird.
 * I’m a NooB at WordPress – sorry if none of this makes sense.
