I've been trying to find the answer for this question for days, I'm trying to edit/change the content in the Email Notification for a New post, my client's blog is in Spanish and all the content, but the blog it self, in the email sent by[email redacted] is in English, I want to change it to Spanish and add some extra information to it, is this possible?

Also this blog is hosted in my server, and some of the link in this email (read more, the author name, the categories, and the tags ) link to my server domain instead of blog's domain.

    Please help!

    Hi Victor,

The email notification messages are handled on WordPress.com's servers, which attempt to automatically detect the language locale that needs to be used. If for some reason this can't be determined, it falls back to English. To help us track some stuff down, can you let me know whether you installed WordPress from WordPress.org or es.WordPress.org?

For the links in the emails, these links should be using the settings from your Settings -> General panel (WordPress Address and Site Address). Can you verify that these are correctly pointing to your blog's domain?

Thank you so much for your reply Tim, I installed wordpress from Go Daddy Hosting Connection. I got the language files for spanish (es_PE.mo) uploaded them and changed define ('WPLANG', ''); to define ('WPLANG', 'es_PE');.

The setting in my General panel are correct, the URL are pointing to the correct domain, yet some of the email's URLs are going to my main domain/the blog folder (http://www.viegosity.com/eltecladodegerson/newblog/etc/...).

    thanks again for your help

I have a similar problem, I did install WordPress from es.WordPress.org but I cannot get anything in Jetpack to show in spanish, nor admin or en user side.
