Change content background color?

  • Hi again Zulf,
    I have tried to change the background color of the content section and managed to change the background ‘around’ the posts (so of the middle and content sidebar section), but not ‘under’ the posts themselves (the part that overlaps on the featured image in the posts). Same for the background under the tags at the end of each article, could not find where to change that. I wanted to have an all grey background in the posts area, and so now I have kind of a thick grey border ‘around’ the posts, but not ‘under’ the written articles, nor under the tags at the end of the article, which both remain white. Can you tell me where/how to change that to in order to have one uniform background in the posts area?
    Thank you in advance for your help!
    Cath.

    Hello Cath,

    I’d do something like…

    .content-area,
    .site-content .entry-header,
    .site-content .entry-content,
    .site-content .entry-meta {
        background-color: #515151;
    }

    This covers all of the elements that you need to target – wasn’t sure of the shade of grey so just chucked that value in, adjust at will 🙂

    Regards,
    Zulf

    Thanks Zulf!
    I’ll try this out.
