    I want to change color of “quote mark”, and all color of highlight items (separate line, table line, etc). Hope to get CSS help here.

    Also, there’re only just 3 types can be added to Cover Imagine (Pharagrap, Heading and Button). While I can add many types of block on “WordPress.com”. Would anyone help me with this?

    Many Thanks.

  • Hi there,

    I want to change color of “quote mark”

    Are you speaking of the quotation marks for the tagline at the top? Those are part of the header image you have set, so there’s no way to change them using CSS. To change those you’d need to edit that image in a program like Photoshop, and change the colors of the text there.

    and all color of highlight items (separate line, table line, etc)

    Are you speaking of the vertical lines next to the blockquotes, and the horizontal lines separating them?

    For the vertical lines next to the blockquotes, you can use this:

    /* Change color of vertical border on blockquote */
    blockquote {
      border-left: 4px solid blue;
    }

    For the horizontal lines you don’t need CSS, as you can change its color directly in the editor. Edit the page, click on the separator block, and select a color under the block Color Settings.

    If that’s not what you’re speaking of, can you please provide more detail on exactly what you’re trying to change?

    Also, there’re only just 3 types can be added to Cover Imagine (Pharagrap, Heading and Button). While I can add many types of block on “WordPress.com”. Would anyone help me with this?

    Are you speaking of the Cover Block? What you can add inside a cover block does not depend on the theme, but on the Cover Block itself, and on both WordPress.com and a self-hosted site I see options for all the different blocks if I add a new block inside a cover block. Make sure you’re clicking the + icon inside the cover block to get the full block selector.

    But as I said above, how the Cover block works has nothing to do with the theme, so if you need more help with using the Cover Block itself, or the Separator block or the block editor in general, please ask in the general support forums:

    Thank you for your help.

    1. Block-quote border color: Done
    2. For separator, can do the same but it needs to change everytime using, so I add for CSS.
    3. Cover Block: Yes, I mean that. Will check again on furum.

    2. For separator, can do the same but it needs to change everytime using, so I add for CSS.

    Okay, if you want to change it globally for the entire site, you can use this:

    /* Change color of block separator */
    hr.wp-block-separator {
      background-color: #79b6c2;
    }

    Thanks so much. CSS is very wonderful for me.

    Glad I could help 🙂
