Hello, I was trying to change the color of the dashes in between the steps based on the progress of the form and can only seem to find that one color can be set.

If this is possible, i’d appreciate some help on how to achieve this. If there’s no current way of doing this, I think it’d be a great look to have a base color and once that step has been completed, to change the dash color to something else to better help visualize the progress of the form.

I’ve attached a photo of the dashes in between the steps i’d like to change the colors of.

    Thanks!

    Hi @hilltoprunner

I hope you are doing well.

We should have the progress out of the box already https://monosnap.com/file/vjBzI3jICxvjXhvHzvB8TF4Gpcao9g but the shared screenshot seems different than the default, can you please share the form link so we can verify this for you?

    Best Regards

Thanks for the prompt response as always

This is the form – it’s the order form on my site

I’ve looked through the appearance section but can’t seem to find it, i’d appreciate your help to achieve exactly what the above entails

    Thank you

    Hi @hilltoprunner,

Hope this message finds you well and thanks for the update.

After taking a closer look to your form I notice you are using Appearance >> Design Style >> Material:

For that design style, there is no progress bar, only the page number will be highlighted, still, I will ping our Second Line Support and see if they can provide a snippet to add color to the thin line.

I will back to you once I get a reply from them.

    Kind regards,
    Laura

    Hi @hilltoprunner,

    Thanks for your patience.

After checking with our Devs, I am afraid customizing the line as a progress bar would be out of our scope. The design styles does have the progress bar are Default and Flat as you can see here:

Let us know if you require additional assistance.

    Kind regards,

I understand and thank you for taking the time to check this

I believe the answer I was looking for was in your previous post, and please correct me if I’m wrong in my assumption…

It’s in the design style that I’ve used (material) that does not allow for the bars in between the numbers to be highlighted? If I were to change the design style, then this can be achieved, correct?

Thank you once again and I look forward to your response

Correct, you will find how to change it to a different Desing Style at (edit your form) Appearance tab:

Let us know if you where able to find it.

Yup thank you! I tested it and although it’s definitely possible with another design style, I much prefer the overall look of (material) rather than achieving the progress bar look.

Thank you for taking the time to help me out with this and for checking with the devs as well – a big thank you to them too.

P.S. would it be possible to remove the link to my page on my post? I can no longer edit it and would highly appreciate it if possible.

    All the best,
    Yoel
