change charset

    Hi on my website http://www.caledon.xf.cz/blog I have a Wordprress and problem. There is utf-8 charset but it is not possible to display Czech letters.

    I want change charset to windows-1250 or do something for change charset in post which i posted but i do not know how.

    Do you understand me? I am Czechman so my English is not too good 🙂

    Hey, Czechman,
    I understand perfectly what you are saying.

    Actually, there is nothing wrong with WordPress.
    The problem is with you: you edited the template files with an editor that doesn’t have utf-8 support.
    Also, it seems you are copying text into the post from somewhere else.

    The utf-8 encoding works very well with every language – that’s the beauty of it!
    (example)

    ANyway, if you insist on changing the encoding:
    go admin > Options > Reading and change it.
