Change Catergory View to Grid of Featured Images

    Hello,

    I am interested in changing the display format of Categories. When you go to say http://moregone.com/category/automotive/ it shows the full posts of all my posts with the automotive category.

    What I ideally would do is have 3 to 4 columns of thumbnails of the featured images for each post and 2 to 3 rows.

    The above is a plugin I found that seems to do what I could like, except for the fact I would have to create Pages or Posts to hold the shortcode and I would have to create custom menu entries for each. This is a great solution but I expect to have lots of categories over time and would find this a bit consuming for each category I choose to create in the future.

    If there was a way to accomplish this in my theme I would be very happy.

    To do this the way you are asking would require a customized theme template file named category.php, so a plugin most likely cannot help you here. Are you comfortable with PHP and/or CSS?

    I am comfortable with CSS but not PHP.

    I will go the route of the the Plugin. Thanks
