Hi there! The carousel actually does not support image-based captions (currently). I am investigating a work-around, but for the time-being – the main caption is the only caption for that particular block.

Hopefully something could be sorted at some point.
So it is possible to add the image captions inside the list item below the figure and flickerty will still move the list images along fine with the image captions or alt or text.
Just an idea as I’m currently using the ‘alt’ tag from the image gallery with custom JS to place the alt tag as html in the list item to move with image.
Its a bit of a run around but am super stoked with your gallery system so far! Thanks so much for rocking this out 🙂

@ndcadmin I investigated a bit on my end too. The tricky part is figuring out how to implement the edit view (within the editor). It would not be possible to edit the caption text the way you can with the Masonry block, as the Flickity component resets when it’s not being manipulated (and the captions are not part of that).
If I disabled inline editing of the captions on just that block, it could maybe work though.
