    Hi all,

    The support here for the Hueman theme has just been fantastic for me and I thank you in advance.

    I wish to change the background colour on my footer menu and ‘return to top’ arrow, any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Footer Color:

    #nav-topbar.nav-container{
         -webkit-box-shadow: none;
         -moz-box-shadow: none;
         box-shadow: none;
    }

    “Return to top” defaults, just change what you need:

    #footer-bottom #back-to-top {
        background: #eaeaea;
        color: #777;
        -webkit-border-radius: 0 0 3px 3px;
        border-radius: 0 0 3px 3px;
        -webkit-box-shadow: inset 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.05);
        box-shadow: inset 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.05);
    }

    Hi ptravassos,

    Thank you for your help. I pasted them both into my child style.css but didn’t work. Here is the link to my site if this is of any use. I thought that maybe my child style.css is broken but all my other adjustments in there seem to work fine.

    The previous code is wrong. I pasted the code that was to be to your other question.
    Your child style.css is working ok.

    Change Footer color to red:

    #footer-bottom {
        background: #ff0000;
    }

    Change “Return to top” to blue:

    #footer-bottom #back-to-top {
        background: #0000ff;
    }

    Hi pvtravassos,

    Thank you for your help, I really do appreciate it. Unfortunately, nothing seems to be working. I copied all the text to my child style.css and there was no change.

    Any other ideas?

    This is what i see (http://prntscr.com/9zzp3m) If i edit your child style.css to:

    /*
        Theme Name: Hueman Child
        Theme URI: http: //seton.me
        Description: This is a custom child theme I have created.
        Author: Seton
        Author URI: http: //mysite.com/
        Template: hueman
        Version: 0.1
        */
        @import url("../hueman/style.css");

    #footer-bottom {
        background: #ff0000;
    }

    #footer-bottom #back-to-top {
        background: #0000ff;
    }

    /* ------------------------------------------------------------------------- *

    .site-title {float: initial !important;}
    .full-width.admin-bar #nav-topbar.nav-container {text-align: center !Important;}

    /* ------------------------------------------------------------------------- *

    #nav-header {text-align: center !Important;}

    /* ------------------------------------------------------------------------- *

    .page-title {display:none!important;}
    .pad {padding-top: 10px;}

    /* ------------------------------------------------------------------------- *

    Hi ptravassos,

    Thank you for your help. I’ve discovered what was wrong – Cloudflare was caching my stylesheet so I wasn’t seeing the changes live.

    I’ve managed to change the return to top button to a colour I like. However, the code you supplied to change the footer colour is just that, changing the footer colour. What I’m looking for is to change the footer menu colour. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

    Good to know, try this:

    #nav-footer.nav-container {
        background-color: #ff0000;
    }

    Superb! Thank you so much for your help.

    Resolved.

    Great

    Anyone know how to change foreground color in footer menu ?

    #nav-footer.nav-container {
        color: #FFFFFF;!important
    }

    is not doing the job.
    Many thanks.

    Hi,

    The color is define on a more specific element thats why your css is not taking effect.
    Try:

    #nav-footer .nav li a {
        color: #FFFFFF;
    }

    If it doesn’t work for you, please provide a site link.

    This works, thank you!

    Could you tell me something more please:
    1. set the footer-nav hover foreground
    2. set footer-nav hover background

    3. The top bar hover background
    4. The top bar hover foreground

    Also, what is the different between
    #footer-widgets
    and
    #footer

    Could not figure out any difference.
    Thank you very much

    1. set the footer-nav hover foreground (color:)
    2. set footer-nav hover background (background-color:)

    #nav-footer .nav li > a:hover, #nav-footer .nav li:hover > a {
        background-color: #32f63b;
        color: #ff0000;
    }

    3. The top bar hover background
    4. The top bar hover foreground

    #nav-header .nav li > a:hover, #nav-header .nav li:hover > a {
        color: #ffffff;
        background-color: #ff0000;
    }

    I can’t find any #footer-widgets on the page link of the starting question.
