Change Appearance – TDO Mini Form

Is there a way to change the appearance of my TDO Mini Form that shows up on my front page? The widgets are not aligned and everything is too spaced. I would like to have it neatly organized like the first screenshot on this page http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tdo-mini-forms/screenshots/ . How do I customize the appearance of it? Is it CSS or does it have to do with the hacking? All the help is greatly appreciated! Thanks
