Change appearance of distance search field

    Hi,
    is it possible to change the appearance of the distance search field?
    The distance search fields consist of:
    1: number
    2: miles/km

    I would love to just display a range slider instead that combines the number and m/km together.

    Hi chrishechler,

    You can modify the default BP Profile Search form template to make it look the way you want, but that’s not straightforward in my opinion.

    Also, I’m not a CSS or JavaScript expert, and I’m unable to offer more detailed advice. Sorry!

    Thats fine, I still appreciate your reply 🙂
    Wish there was an option to attach screenshots to show you more of what I would like to achieve. Sometimes people have more ideas when they see what another person actually wants.
    I guess I will have to give the form template a try then 😉

    Hi Chris,

    The form template outputs the HTML of the search form, which POSTs the selection of miles/km, distance, and location data to the server. You can change the form template to display a range slider instead, as long as you continue to POST the information in the same way as before.
