Change all links in text and URLs

Hi guys,

I need your help/advice.

I have a client who wants to change the URL of nearly every page on his website. (+-150 pages). Every page has +- 20 links on them. The domain will be the same, just behind the .com it’ll change.

[Example: testsite.com/contact will be testsite.com/thisiscontact]

Because I want the downtime to be a minimal I was thinking about copying every page, change the URLs and retype all the links and when I’m done I will delete all the old pages. = no downtime. But, this is a hell of a job.

Is there a plugin I could use? I bet there is a plugin that would allow me to insert both URLs (the old one and the new one). But will it change all the URLs? Liiike, in text and images? And relative paths? I remember WP Migrate DB had a function like that, but I’m not sure it’s the right way.
