Thank you for using our plugin @sallyruchman

At the moment it is not possible to do so, but it is certainly a feature we can add. May I ask what is the issue with having the 404 logs in the uploads directory?

Thanks for your reply. I also would not store my Servers Log Files in the Uploads Folder, with sensitive IP Information.

    Best regards

The 404 log files have the IP address of the visitor requesting the non-existing page and not the IP address of your server.

Btw everyone can find the IP address of your server, that is not sensitive information. Or an I missing something?

I mean with Server Logs apache, nginx etc.,this information have not to be under wp uploads folder, there should be just Images, regarding visitors GDPR releated

    Thx

The web server log files are something completely different. The 404 log files are generated by the plugin (plugin data) do that is the most appropriate place where to store them, especially when you consider that many website owners do not have access to any other directory but their website’s root.

However, I see your concern and it is a setting we will implement on the near future.

Thank you very much for using our plugin and for the suggestions.
