# CGI timeout on install.php

 * Server OS: Windows 2000 Server
    Web Server: IIS Workstation: WindowsXP box Browser:
   Firefox & IE MySQL: 4.1.12 PHP: 5.0.4 Other: ISAPI_Rewritelite Wordpress ver:
   1.5.1.2 (Installed in root of debug1) Web site: [http://www.debug1.com](http://www.debug1.com)
 * I get “The specified CGI application exceeded the allowed time for processing.
   The server has deleted the process.” when I try to access:
 * [http://www.debug1.com/wp-admin/install.php](http://www.debug1.com/wp-admin/install.php)
 * I’ve uninstalled and re-installed MySQL, and made sure that MySQL in in the path.
   Verified by the fact that I was able to create the “wpdatabase” using the command
   line from a user directory. Also from the MySQL command line I’ve been able to
   log in using the exact username and password specified in wp-config.php.
 * Can anybody help me diagnose what’s happenning?
