CGI Error on Posting of a Blog Entry

    This is the error it gives while posting a ‘blog entry’, although the blog DOES get posted.

    I’ll really appreciate any help, if someone has faced this issue before and successful in resolving it?

    Btw, the website is http://www.tech-trip.com if someone wants to have a look at what the problem could be?

    Really need a lot more information here. You didn’t put your WordPress files into the CGI folder, did you? Is php being run as a CGI? What’s your setup.

    A quick google search shows it’s caused usually by folking installing their php files into the CGI directory.

    Hi,

    I face similar error when I install word press blog through hosting controller.

    CGI Error
    The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.

    During the process, I see the step 2 being performed and later when I try the site http://any-site/blog it gives me error.

    Thank you for any help in advance. I have searched everywhere but could not find this issue resolved. Please help !

    I’m having the same issue! I’m trying to run this locally using IIS with PHP Version 5.1.2. I’ve tracked it back to this

    global $wpdb; on line 913 of functions.php.

    As for the fix I seem to be bashing my head against a brick wall?

    Any help on this would be much appreciated!
