CF7 simple form sending blank email body (no text)

I have been using a simple CF7 form very successfully for several years (v 5.2.2 since August 2020) and in the last two weeks, with no changes on my end, messages coming from my web site are blank in the email body when received. Originally, it was only happening on my Mac, but it is also now occurring on a partner’s PC (in gmail). I am pretty sure I’ve aligned all the relevant mail tags in the form / mail, so I’m puzzled. It’s on a Managed WP site with GoDaddy…
I’d like to attach prints of the various aspects (form, mail, resulting message), but cannot see that option here — ? The form text is:
<p>Your name…<br />
[text* your-name] </p><p>Your e-mail…<br />
[email* your-email] </p><p>Your phone…<br />
[tel* tel-579] </p>[response]
<p>Your message…<br />
[textarea* your-message] </p><p>[submit “Send Message”]</p>
The mail text uses the same tags without the leading “xyz*” (just “[your-xyz]”)
