    Hello,
    The following message appears when somebody tries to send an message: “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again.” I use CF7 for many years now, but this has never happened.
    I made a new basic test-form, but still the same happens.
    Can you help us out! thank you in advance!

    I found the error: Google reCaptcha blocks the sending of the forms.
    It always worked before, so I tried to change some configuration in Google reCaptcha console, but no luck.
    So for the time being I deactivated the reCaptcha integration …

    I maintain different websites. For some I’ve changed the reCaptcha already to hCaptcha.
    But for example on the following site reCaptcha is active and CF7 is therefor not working: https://karinschacknat.nl/contact/
    You can test if you want …

    Make sure which spam protection is blocking the submissions. If it was really reCAPTCHA, check the more detailed information shown in the “reCAPTCHA” box of the Inbound Message screen.

    I’ve no clue what you mean by “the Inbound Message screen” … but never mind: I’m changing all my contactforms to Forminator. Thanks for your support!
