CF7 dropdown showing as list not checkbox

Hey there,

Contact form 7

Im trying to create a form where you can select multiple on a dropdown box. I have gone through many forums to search for the answer and Im guessing its probably a simple solution.

the code is:

‘Select Diplomas: [select menu-767 multiple “Diploma 1” “Diploma 2” “Diploma 3” “Diploma 4” “diploma 5” “diploma 6” “diploma 7”]’

code was generated using cf7 tag generator

the problem is it isnt showing as a dropdown checkbox selection. Its showing first four selections already opened with the scroll bar and no checkbox. Old school crt & click for multiple selections.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?
