CF 7 stopped working

    It was working until couple days ago. Last mail I have received on 9th of June.
    And now I was informed via direct email that my contact form is not working.

    After pressing SEND it is just stuck.
    It even does not check for required fields. Here is the image:

    Please, I need to fix this issue because I have a booking site and contact form is very important.

    There are a bunch of threads about what I believe is causing this issue for you. Basically, CF7 version 4.8 began using anonymous REST API, and if you are running any security plugin that blocks access to anonymous REST, or are doing so in another way, your CF7 form will hang with the “traffic circle”.

    The workaround is to downgrade to version 4.7 of CF7, since allowing anonymous REST API access opens your site to a number of security vulnerabilities.

    You can check to see if this is the issue by logging into your site as admin and then trying to use the contact form while logged in. If it works when you’re logged in, the anonymous REST API issue is most likely the cause.
