    answering to a [Stack Overflow question](http://stackoverflow.com/a/16772997/1287812),
   I came across your plugin.
 * Well, it did need a revamp.

 * I haven’t touched the original functions, but I think they can improve. Like 
   using the `sitemeta` table instead of an exclusive table, changing the output
   to a `WP_Plugins_List_Table`. Nonetheless, works flawlessly in my test environment.

 * Well, taking a second round on the plugin, it does not do what it says it does.
   And seems kind of problematic trying to make it work.
 * How can I say that? There’s no single instance of `activate_plugin()`, nor manipulation
   of `wp_%ID%_options.active_plugins`.
 * The more I think, the more I’m convinced this plugin is not a good idea. Reading
   the functions [`activate_plugin()`](http://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/3.6.1/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php#L491)
   and [`activate_plugins()`](http://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/3.6.1/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php#L625)
   tells me that’s better let WordPress do plugins activations and deactivations
   in the screen it’s supposed to.
