# Certificate saving

 * Hello,
   can you tell me if the certificates are somehow stored in the database
   and if so, how can I access them? It may be, for legal reasons, that someone 
   has lost their certificate after a course and would like to have it back, even
   though they have not been registered for some time. Thank you!

 * Just to clarify, the certificates aren’t stored in the database. Each time a 
   user clicks the download certificate button, it’s freshly generated using their
   student information, course details, and progress data from various tables.
 * You can easily access your certificates by going to your User Account and clicking
