# Certain posts return 404 despite being published

 * Certain posts within a custom post type on this website are displaying a 404 
   error, despite the post existing (based on slug) and being published. It seems
   to be connected to the slug/permalink, as modifying the slug makes the page display
   correctly, and using GET variables also works..
 * Example of a broken one:

   404 with correct permalink) [https://www.dolphinsquare.co.uk/?property=m-103-dolphin-square-london-sw1v-3na](https://www.dolphinsquare.co.uk/?property=m-103-dolphin-square-london-sw1v-3na)(
   same as above but works because it’s not using the permalink)

 * Hi elom8,
 * When this happens to me, resaving my permalinks sometimes fixes it. In your dashboard
   under settings>permalinks, don’t change anything, just scroll down and click “
   Save Changes.”
 * I would try that before looking into anything else.

 * I’ve tried this, doesn’t solve the issue unfortunately.
 * Again it seems to be directly related to some specific slugs, as modifying the
   slug in the example makes it display correctly..
