• Hello, I am currently building a website using Divi and while the desktop website works fine, the mobile and tablet versions have an issue where images disappear. Certain images, mainly the logo in the header and footer, are missing on page load and appear 5-10 seconds later.

I have already tried turning off Static CSS file generation, it did not fix the issue. Worth noting this does not happen every time I load the page, maybe 50% of the time.

Please let me know if you are able to assist, thank you!

Hello @marketingwebsite2022. When I run your site through PageSpeed Insights, it indeed shows good performance for desktop and poor performance for mobile.

Under the opportunities header, PageSpeed Insights suggests:

    1) Serving images in next-gen formats: “Image formats like WebP and AVIF often provide better compression than PNG or JPEG, which means faster downloads and less data consumption. Consider using a plugin or service that will automatically convert your uploaded images to the optimal formats.”

    2) Efficiently encoding images. Optimized images load faster and consume less cellular data. Consider using an image optimization WordPress plugin that compresses your images while retaining quality.”

PageSpeed Insights offers some additional suggestions as well, but the two above should offer some significant load-time savings on mobile.

    Best regards.
