 * I logged in this morning and 15 of 18 sites are listed with connection issues.
   I can access all of them and run scans as normal, they just won’t connect to
   the Central Dashboard.
 * All plugins are up to date.

 * Don’t know if this will help in your case, but in mine–the last time this happened
   it was the SSL certificates expired (when they weren’t supposed to). Once those
   were fixed, W.F. central started working again (it did require a new admin dashboard
   login).

 * Hi [@lprdesigns](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lprdesigns/), thanks for
   getting in touch.
 * Head over to Wordfence Central, go to the **Connection Issues tab**. Clear out
   one of the sites of your choice from there, as we just need to test at this stage
   what might fix the others.
 * Now visit your site and log in as an admin. Navigate to **Tools > Diagnostics
   > Other Tests > Clear all Wordfence Central connection data**. Clear the connection
   data and then from the Wordfence Dashboard, click on “Connect this site” in the
   Wordfence Central widget.
 * [https://www.wordfence.com/help/central/connect/#troubleshooting-connection-issues](https://www.wordfence.com/help/central/connect/#troubleshooting-connection-issue)
   also has some troubleshooting steps you could follow.
 * If any of the methods you try is successful, repeat for your other sites. Otherwise,
   please get back to me with a diagnostic report (from one of the sites for now)
   to **wftest @ wordfence . com**? You can find the link to do so at the top of
   the **Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics** page. Then click on **“Send Report by Email”**.
   Please add your forum username where indicated and _respond here after you have
   sent it._
 * _**Note:** For the fastest response time, please make sure and add any information
   or questions directly to this topic and not the email address above unless asked._
 * Thanks,
 * Peter.

 * Diagnostic report has been sent. Interestingly, all but 2 sites started working
   again this morning. The two that don’t are reporting unable to resolve domain
   redirects. Both sites worked fine before yesterday and the sites and plugins
   are working fine. It may be they will start working again on their own.
 * I tried an uninstall/reinstall on one and it didn’t help.

 * Hi [@lprdesigns](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lprdesigns/),
 * It’s good news that some started working, although with unresolvable domain redirects,
   they are often because the TLS certificates have incomplete chain issues.
 * I checked the domain contained in the diagnostic you sent me, which seemed to
   pass the test on: [https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/index.html](https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/index.html)
 * However, if the 2 sites reporting these issues show errors there when you try,
   you may need to consult with your hosts’ support channels, if they supplied the
   certificates.
 * If this isn’t the case, another reason could be rewrite rules in your **.htaccess**
   file. Can you post your rewrite rules here in a code block? The issue might be
   that your website is redirecting bot-like traffic, and so Wordfence Central is
   unable to link to your website when it attempts to connect.
 * Thanks,
 * Peter.
