Support » Theme: Primer » centering site title in viewport ascension theme

    This is my first time creating a website, so I am very new to the whole CSS thing. Through countless searches, I somehow managed to get the site logo and site description centered on the screen. I cannot get the site title centered however. Unless something I have entered in additional CSS is conflicting with my attempts to center, I am at a loss. I don’t want to adjust the padding because I don’t want the changes to only affect the screen size I’m working on. This is what I have for CSS so far.

    img.custom-logo {
    max-width:100%;
    position:absolute;
    left:0; right:0;
    margin:auto;
    margin-top: -150px;
    width: 50% !important;
    max-height: 100% !important;
    }
    div.site-header-wrapper {
    margin-top: 100px;
    }
    .site-description {
    max-width: 100%;
    position: absolute;
    left: 0; right: 0;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    text-align: center;
    font-size: 16px;
    padding-bottom: 5px;
    border-bottom-style: double;
    border-bottom-color: darkblue;
    color: #194f6e;
    }
    a.button {
    border-radius: 20px;
    }
    .site-title {
    margin-bottom: 20px;
    }

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @jfor56,

    Add below css code into your current active child theme’s style.css file or you can add additional css option in theme customizer.

    .site-header .site-title-wrapper {
      float: none;
      margin: 0 auto;
      text-align: center;
    }

    Hope this will helps you.

    Thanks.

    Thank you very much! that worked perfectly. One last thing if you don’t mind? Can you help me get the main navigation aligned to the left?
