Centering Logo in Snapshot Theme (7 posts)

    Hello Everyone,

I am an amateur at best and I have been stuck with general layout issues.

The main issue that I have is that I cannot seem to center my logo. I added the logo through the customize option and it seems to be stuck to the left hand side of the page. I have tried numerous searches and a little CSS ( of which I know very little )and I still have no solution to this mediocre problem. I am hoping that when I learn how to fix it, it will translate into the layout correction for various icons, etc.

Ideally, I would like to create a centralized layout made of icons and logos.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

P.S. It is the Snapshot theme with no alterations in the CSS.

    Thank you.

    Is this the theme? http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/snapshot
(There seem to be quite a few of that name.)

We'd need to see your site to help with CSS questions. And be sure that you have custom CSS set up or a child theme - don't make changes directly in theme file as they will be lost upon updating.

    That's the one...

It seems to be the only one that I can pickup from the WordPress theme search.

No problem - just wanted to be sure -- the other ones aren't from this site - so those wouldn't be supported here. But yours is fine- still

Can you post a link to your site?

I have a Under Construction plugin, so the domain doesn't display the actual site.

I will post the CSS code that appears when I click editor.

    Theme Name: Snapshot
    Theme URI: http://siteorigin.com/theme/snapshot/
    Author: SiteOrigin
    Author URI: http://siteorigin.com/
    Version: 1.0.10...

[ hundreds of lines of stylesheet removed ]

It would be better to paste that amount of code onto a pastebin, or link to the stylesheet in trac found via the developers tab on the theme page:

Troubleshooting css without being able to see the actual site isn't much fun though

Still very new to all this.

I am even Googling the Child Theme concept mentioned. Such is my level unfortunately. We all have to start somewhere though, right?
