First of all thank you very much. It’s clean and easy to customize.

I’d like to limit the dimensions of the images in the slider, to a fixed height in my case.

Small images have a smaller width than the total width of the slider, and they are aligned to left.

How can I change it ?

Using firefox inspector I’ve found a margin:0px in style.css line 408. I’ve changed it in margin: 0px auto; and it works.

But if I update the theme, the change probably will be lost.

Can you suggest me a method to set some custom css properties that will stay “saved” somewhere also if I update ?

Thank you very much in advance

    Hi vspataro,

that’s kind of a problem because all slider should be 100% (width) otherwise it will not fit well on small devices like cellphones, etc…

This theme has a function to crop images to 600×338 size. My advice is for you to try upload images with the same size or larger than this, so them will be cropped and fitted as it should be. (I am talking about the featured blog images, content images can be any size)

If you follow those steps all images should be the same height.

    Thank you very much.

But I need to reduce the height and probably some images will be less width then 100%. “margin:0,auto” seems a good solution, the left and right arrows go outside the image but it’s pretty. I’ll test on different display to report you how it works.

I’m also editing the “social” div adding support for multilingual versions.

I want to add one or more icon for: English, French, Spanish, Italian ad so on, near the twitter, facebook, etc etc icons. It works, perhaps could be an interesting feature to add to your option page. This obviously stop me to update the template in future versions, but it’s huge customization.

Your template is really easy to edit. It’s a great feature.

    Hey there,

the slider’s height is related with the image’s height. The div content is around 692px, if you upload a image with this width or more and with small height, you will be able to do what you want to. Like this guy is doing in some of his posts http://www.boringcapetownchick.com/2014/04/win-tickets-jack-parow-willowbridge-14th-april-14/ he is uploading a large image but not too height. Sort of a panoramic image.

If you upload a image with less than 692px the slider will automatically stretch to make it fill the content size, making it too height.

I will be glad for your reporting, and also if you could write me a review http://wordpress.org/support/view/theme-reviews/lupercalia

    😉

    Done 🙂
    Bye
