Support » Fixing WordPress » Centering an object in "Text Widget"

  • I really need some clear help that can point me right to where to solve this problem. I embedded a code from into a “Text Widget” on my blog. This put a music player with a track list in the text box on the blog. The problem is trying to make that player object centered IN THE TEXT BOX. It is considered an OBJECT. In the widget area of m dashboard I add <center> </center> around the object code. That didn’t work.

Then I added <div style=”text-align:center”> and </div> around it but that didn’t work either. I even tried <div style=”object-align:center”> instead and that didn’t work. Then I went to the editor and tried to change anything that had to do with widgets, but no luck. If you know how to fix this please provide a detailed answer. Thank you.

Check your theme’s CSS. I’ve seen many where they call a reset.css file and, in there, they wipe out the center styling. You may need to reapply it in your style.
