Centering

Ok, for a long time now, I’ve had trouble getting things to stay centered. Doesn’t matter if it’s a title at the top of my blog post (not the auto-generated one–I always add the title again in bigger bold type at the top within the BODY of my blog posts), or a random section that I want to make stand out within the post.

I’ve noticed the html for centering </center> and such disappearing on me, and even if I add it in myself, sometimes it works, but most of the time not. And if I do get it to work, I can’t seem to touch my post again or it will disappear again and I won’t be able to get it back. And sometimes it seems to affect the way the widgets in my sidebar appear! Not sure how or why those would be connected.
