• Hi,

I notice that when I make the site layout ‘boxed’, my slider image does not center itself relative to the box (I would like the image of the plane to be centered: http://www.sdsnm.com).

Is there code that can fix this?

    Thank you!

  • Did you fix this? I’m not even seeing a slider, just a static image.

Sorry I meant static slide, not slider.

For now I’m letting the site be full-width since it looks better. I would like to use the boxed format. When I set it to ‘boxed’, however, the background image is not resized but merely shifts to the right to be flush with the left border of the box, so I lose some of the right side of my image. I would like my image to scale down so that the entire image is contained within the box.

I’ve tried reducing the size of the image myself but when I upload it it gets blown up to the same, too-large, beyond-the-box-margin size (see screenshot below).

I love this theme except the way that the slides handle background images is driving me crazy and I don’t have the coding skills to fix it yet!

What it looks like in boxed mode:

I would like the entire image to scale down so that all of it is visible, as in full-width mode:

Thank you for any help, this is my last hurdle to having the full site online!
