    Image slides and text slides should be centered by default. Could you please show me your website, so I can see what’s going wrong?

    slides are aligned center-top by default, not center-center
    test by having a square window and wide slide

    I’m sorry, I misunderstood that. You could do this using CSS, but all slides would need to be equally high. The reason the script doesn’t do this automatically, is the slideshow may look messy when the slides aren’t aligned horizontally.
