  • Hi, I had a LiteSpeed engineer misconfigure my LSCache twice. When configuring it to work with a CDN they created an infinite loop where the page kept refreshing. They couldn’t fix it. They didn’t monitor for it to happen. So I had to go back to my previous Cache Supplier. No attention to detail. No follow up. Really bad experience.

    I wish it had been a good experience.

    I’m sorry to hear of your bad experience. We looked through our support system to determine what may have happened, but all that we see are two tickets from April and May of this year. Is this the situation you are referring to?

    It looks like someone (your hosting provider maybe?) created the tickets on your behalf. From our conversations with that person, it seemed that everything was solved satisfactorily! We were never given any indication that you were unhappy, or that the situation was not resolved.

    If you would like to try again to get LSCache running on your site, we would be happy to work with you directly to resolve any issues (and bypass the misunderstandings that can arise from communicating through a third party).     Once your CDN configuration is as easy to configure as other cache plugins let me know. Because right now it’s moving into the territory of REGEX expressions in order to configure a simple CDN and this really isn’t appealing. Plus with the fact that twice the LiteSpeed tech (not the hosting tech) configured it with no follow up which resulted in an infinite loop twice! Which resulted in lost sales. And really this level of care I would have expected more. WP Rocket or WP Super Cache are two examples of plugins that just work when CDN is configured plus they are easy to configure.

    In terms of support, however, I have to reiterate that we were told the problem was solved. If that is untrue then there was an unfortunate miscommunication somewhere along the line.
