CCW plugin with fluid-width themes? (4 posts)

    Is it possible to set the Custom Content Width as a percentage rather than as a number of pixels?

    Setting a CCW of 800px on my fluid-theme blog looks fine on my 1280x800 laptop screen but looks bad on my 1920x1200 monitor.

    All help/advice appreciated, TIA.

    I'd like to know this too so I can use Jetpack tiled galleries, at the moment it looks awful on my local installation. I tried adding

    if ( ! isset( $content_width ) )
        $content_width = 100%;

    but that just generated an error.

    Instead of 100% I put in 2000 and it works...as long as your screen size is less than 2000px I imagine.

    Not the cleanest fix, but there you go!

    I also need for this to change the set width to be flexible. Without this plugin my (responsive) site is showing a forced minimum width, so mobile views cut of everything (the galleries force the entire content area to be too wide).

    Telling it to make the width larger is no less a problem. (I tried).

    Can this plugin be modified to make this a percentage, or in some other way tell it to make the width flexible?

    Or is there another plugin or solution to solve this?
