 * I want to use ccaps to create a few custom roles and levels when a user registers.
 * Right now its easy if I use the levels, I assign upon registration the user level
   role.
 * But, _without_ using the s2member registration form, how can I set a user that
   registers a ccaps package?
 * Let me explain, I am using a forms plugin to manage all my forms and registrations.
   I can easily set the role a user gets when he registers. How does ccaps work?
   Can I create a role and assign that?
 * Thanks

 * I’d suggest using the Capability Manager Enhanced plugin to add (and remove)
   ccaps to roles you create.
 * But I’m intrigued why you use a forms plugin rather than use the tool designed
   for the job.

 * I’m missing one point. Do I just assign the ccaps in the shortcode or is there
   somewhere I need to “create” a custom cap first before using it? (Like the levels
   that have a page where each level is given a name?)
 * I’m using the forms plugin because the forms are multi page and quite complex.
   Basically the idea is to have a whole form filled out for a listing _before_
   registering the user. It seems easier to deal with the form this way rather than
   using s2member. Also, I need to make these forms editable and updateble by the
   users after registration. I’m not so familiar with s2memebr to build that even
   if I’m sure it is possible.

 * You can create custom form fields with s2Member Pro. I would have thought that
   would be much easier.
 * You will need to create the ccap for whatever posts and pages you want to use
   it. If you use the plugin I mentioned, you would be able to allocate the ccap
   automatically to whatever user role you choose.

 * [@jenkisan](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jenkisan/): I am curious, how
   did you set the complex forms to work with s2M’s payment buttons?
    If you did
   this, just set ccaps in buttons. If not, you need a custom hack to do that. I
   must see the site to think about exactly solution, may be easy or difficult,
   depends…
