Hi again.
Have you enabled the debugging feature at Settings > Support > “Enable logging for debugging purposes.” checkbox?
Once you enable that, we can try submitting to the form again and see if anything shows up for errors.
Ok I just enabled the debugging feature and submitted the form again.
Just submitted to the form as well. If there’s any errors creeping through, they should be logged in the newly revealed “Debug Logs” menu item. Can you please check for anything in the textarea on that new page, an provide here so we can review as well.
Here is the debug log:
[2022-04-26 18:26:29] API.INFO: Contact set to be updated [“Extra information”,[{“form”:”Contact Us”}]] []
Hmm. Not much there thus far, and nothing that indicates errors were had.
Can you double check the list in question to see if maybe yours or my own submission was successful?
Just checked and nothing was added to the list.
Hmm. Willing to reach out and contact us off the forums so we can attempt to debug this at a deeper level?
If yes, please reach out to apisupport@constantcontact.com and CC support@pluginize.com. Please provide https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cc-form-not-adding-contact-to-cc-list/ as part of the reply so we can correlate the ticket with the appropriate forum thread.
Thanks
For anyone coming by, the form in question is using the “Opt In” functionality and when that is utilized, a submitting user needs to check that in order to be added to the list in question. When the “Opt In” checkbox is not used, then they should be getting added right away.
This is in part due to the plugin being able to serve as a very basic contact form as well, which may not need to have them added to any lists.
Hope that helps future people.
