    Hi there!

    Thank you for sharing the screen recording. I can replicate the behavior you reported in that the CC fields are cleared on updating the address fields. However, not just on the latest version, but also on a previous release (For example: Version 2.6.1 released back in 2021-05-27)

    Do you recall the version you were using prior to updating the extension?

    I think it was the 2.6.1…. how to fix?

    Hi there!

    The version I tested with, was 2.6.1 where does clear the CC fields. You can check if there are other versions where the CC fields don’t clear by downloading them from the bottom of this page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-powered-by-braintree/advanced/

    If there isn’t a version where this can be replicated, if you’d rather have this as an option in the core extension, I’d recommend posting it as a feature request. You can do that by adding your request as an idea to the Ideas Board https://ideas.woocommerce.com/forums/133476-woocommerce?category_id=170349 – This is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.

    Sorry I don’t understand.. there is a MAJOR bug with the braintree extension. When will it be resolved?

    Even though this is not ideal it does not look like a major bug since this will not force payments to fail.

    I went ahead and tested this with some previous versions and this looks like it has been like this for some time as I wasn’t able to identify a version where the fields do not clear after an address change.

    It is entirely a major bug. This is the checkout!! It’s not the about us page. Anything that DELETES customer data on the checkout page is 100% major

    I understand that you feel this is a bug. However, we can see this has been like this for some time in the extension. I think this is a user experience workflow that can be improved.
